The Lion & Lamb Lodge No 192 on the Register of the United Grand Lodge of England was consecrated on Christmas Eve 1789 under the juristiction of the Antient or Atholl Grand Lodge. It has flourished throughout the last two centuries and is still meeting regularly in London being one of only 125 Atholl Lodges still surviving.
Throughout its history it has been fortunate to have had as members, many influential Brethren; been responsible, in a small way, for shaping the course of Freemasonry in England, and has collected many items of Masonic ephemera and history. Sadly many have been lost and although some may still exist, their whereabouts is unknown.
These artifacts have now been collated and catalogued for posterity but as yet we have no means of displaying them. This was the original idea behind this Web-site, to be a 'show case' for our history and heritage.
This original idea developed into its present form and is open for Members of the Lodge, Freemasons and Non- Freemasons to view. I hope you find it interesting and informative.
